In early 2024 we took a short weekend trip with my brother-in-law’s family to Kurunegala. It was actually a research trip for our ‘Ant’ book. That night we stayed at the gorgeous planter’s house, and it was magical. This is a scene of what we spent the evening doing: roasting marshmallows and telling weird stories in the huge garden around the campfire.
